End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to a diverse patient population in the ED and MedSurg swing unit
Titrate drips and manage acute patients with conditions ranging from emergencies to swing bed recovery
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Monitor telemetry and interpret strips independently
Float to ED holds as needed and step into charge nurse role
Maintain a calm, efficient environment during high-acuity situations

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
At least one year of recent MedSurg experience required
BLS and ACLS certifications (must be current)
Comfortable titrating drips and reading telemetry strips
Ability to work rotating 12-hour shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in handling common ED and MedSurg diagnoses
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
Effective communication and teamwork
Experience with NEBS, oxygen delivery devices, and occasional vent transport
