Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts available: Days 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or Nights 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to a diverse patient population including CHF, diabetic complications, pneumonia, COPD, post-surgical patients
Monitor telemetry and collaborate with CCU staff
Titrate drips such as Heparin and Bumex as needed
Work with a supportive team including CNAs to deliver excellent patient outcomes
Float to other departments as a helping hand when fully cross-trained

Qualifications

Current Oregon RN license or ability to obtain 90-day emergency license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in medical-surgical nursing
Ability to care for general pediatric patients occasionally

Knowledge & Skills

Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in titrating drips
Excellent communication and teamwork
Adaptability to floating and varied patient loads
