Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM, schedule includes weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed
Administer medications and treatments per hospital policies and standards
Provide education and support to patients and their families

Qualifications

Active Alaska State RN license required
Minimum 3 years of Med-Surg nursing experience
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
HS AED certification required
Critical thinking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Meditech, OBIX, and Pyxis Supply Stations
Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Knowledge of nursing process and evidence-based practice
