Location: Garrison, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead as charge nurse, coordinating resident care and supervising staff
Administer medications accurately and safely to long-term care residents
Perform comprehensive wound care and monitor healing progress
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to optimize resident outcomes
Maintain thorough documentation using Matrix EMR
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a 26-bed facility

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact license)
Minimum 1 year of Long Term Care experience required
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and IV therapy (no titratable drips)
Experience with wound care and chronic disease management (diabetes, dementia, heart disease)
Knowledge of LTC regulations and survey readiness
EMR proficiency, especially Matrix
Leadership and delegation abilities
