Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts available: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM (days) or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM (nights), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
Monitor and interpret fetal heart strips, ensuring timely interventions
Titrate drips including pitocin, insulin, and magnesium as needed
Assist in deliveries and C-sections, working alongside surgical teams
Float to MedSurg and ER as needed, demonstrating adaptability
Collaborate with charge nurses and CNAs to ensure safe patient care

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state required
BLS certification required (ACLS, NRP, STABLE preferred)
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring interpretation and EFM systems (TraceView/PIP)
Proficiency in titrating common drips (pitocin, insulin, magnesium)
Experience with Meditech EMR and Philips tele monitors
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to float to various units and handle diverse patient needs
