Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days/nights, including weekends as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $78 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Manage individualized, goal-directed nursing care using the nursing process and primary nursing principles
Perform procedures and provide comprehensive care for LDRP patients
Utilize Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis, and fetal monitoring equipment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adhere to departmental and hospital policies and nursing standards

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent LDRP experience
Active Alaska RN license required
Current BLS, NRP, STABLE, and HS AED certifications
Proficiency with Meditech, OBIX, Pyxis, and fetal monitoring

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of labor and delivery nursing procedures
Skill in using electronic medical records (Meditech)
Ability to interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong communication and teamwork skills
