Location: Dickinson, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and their newborns from admission through discharge
Monitor and manage labor, including titration of oxytocin and magnesium sulfate
Assist with deliveries and support mother-baby couplets postpartum
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including surgery for cesarean sections
Float to other units as needed for 1:1 patient sitting or helping hands

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
2 years of recent LDRP or labor and delivery experience required
Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
Willingness to undergo fit testing for N95 masks (facial hair may need to be removed)
Ability to work independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in titrating IV drips such as oxytocin, magnesium, and pain medications
Skilled in electronic fetal monitoring with OB Trace Vue
Knowledge of neonatal respiratory support including CPAP and high flow
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to manage emergency situations calmly and effectively
