Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $93 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive care to mothers and newborns in our Family Birthing Center
Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care for patients
Circulate in the OR for Cesarean sections and assist with deliveries
Titrate IV drips such as Pitocin and insulin as needed
Monitor fetal well-being using advanced EFM and respond to changes
Stabilize newborns in our 2-bed NICU and assist with respiratory support
Collaborate with OB providers and neonatologists to ensure positive outcomes
Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes when needed

Qualifications

At least 1 year of LDRP experience (3 years preferred)
Active RN license in California
Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced EFM certifications
Comfortable with NRP at delivery and managing labor patients
OR circulating experience will be considered in lieu of LDRP experience
Ability to float to other Sacramento facilities as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of maternal-fetal monitoring and interpretation
Experience with titrating IV medications like Pitocin and insulin
Understanding of AWHONN staffing guidelines and patient ratios
Skilled in emergency response during deliveries and newborn stabilization
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced unit with OB techs and anesthesia on call
