Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for high-risk laboring and delivery patients in a Level 3 facility
Perform vaginal exams and internal monitor placement with confidence and independence
Circulate and recover C-section patients while ensuring optimal outcomes
Monitor antepartum patients and respond to changing acuity needs
Titrate Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin drips safely
Float to Mother-Baby and other units as census demands
Read and interpret fetal monitor strips using ACLS and AFM skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nevada or compact state
BLS, ACLS, AFM, and NRP certifications required
Cerner experience preferred
Strong clinical judgment for high-risk obstetric care
Ability to work independently and confidently in fast-paced L&D settings

Vaginal exam proficiency
Internal monitor placement
High-risk labor and delivery expertise
Antepartum patient care
C-section circulation and recovery
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Titration of Magnesium Sulfate, Pitocin, Insulin, and Heparin
