Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with rotating on-call and alternating weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $82 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist Interventional Radiologists during imaging-guided invasive procedures like paras, thoras, biopsies, and drainages
Coordinate the IR physician schedule and collaborate with floor nurses and imaging techs for seamless patient care
Monitor sedation patients, assist with pacemaker insertions, and place peripheral IVs
Work with both inpatient and outpatient populations, including pediatric cases as needed
Utilize Cerner EMR, MRI-safe pumps, and EKG monitors to support safe and efficient procedures

Qualifications

Current and active California RN license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Experience in Interventional Radiology is preferred but not mandatory

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner EMR system
Competency in MRI-safe pump and EKG monitor operation
Strong understanding of sedation monitoring and interventional radiology procedures
Excellent communication and coordination skills for multidisciplinary teamwork
