Location: Prescott Valley, Arizona

Start Date: 07-13-2026

End Date: 10-12-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM rotating, every other weekend (Friday/Saturday for nights, Saturday/Sunday for days), holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in a combined ICU/PCU/MST unit
Titrate intravenous drips including sedation, vasopressors, and insulin for critically ill patients
Monitor telemetry and perform 12-lead EKGs for cardiac patients
Collaborate with charge nurse and interdisciplinary team to manage up to 50 inpatient beds
Float to other units as needed to maintain competency in various acuity levels

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent ICU experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam with 80% within two attempts
Strong skills in managing medical ICU patients including sepsis, respiratory failure, and withdrawal
Willingness to work every other weekend and rotate holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in drip titration for vasopressors, sedation, and insulin
Proficient in 12-lead EKG interpretation and telemetry monitoring
Skilled in caring for ICU, PCU, and med-surg patients in a combined unit
