Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour day/night shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekend and holiday rotation

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-level critical care to patients in a combination of MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU settings
Serve as a designated charge nurse, coordinating patient assignments and responding to codes and rapid responses
Titrate complex critical drips including pressors, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
Interpret telemetry strips independently and manage respiratory equipment such as vents, CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow
Float across multiple facilities within Zone 3, including OrthoColorado, Longmont United, St. Anthony, and St. Anthony North Hospitals
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
At least 2 years of ICU nursing experience (3+ years for first-time travelers)
Previous charge nurse experience required
Prior travel experience preferred
Willingness to float throughout a 60-mile radius zone

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in critical care drips, telemetry, and Epic
Strong communication and leadership skills for charge nurse duties
Ability to adapt to fast-paced, high-acuity environments
Comfort with floating between different ICUs and stepdown units
