Location: Centennial, CO

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour rotating shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends (6-9 weekends per 6-week schedule) and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide critical care to a diverse patient population across multiple ICUs (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU) within Zone 1
Titrate vasoactive, sedative, and paralytic drips per protocols
Interpret cardiac telemetry and manage arrhythmias independently
Float between facilities including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, and others within a 60-mile radius
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Maintain 1:1-2 nurse-to-patient ratios, adjusting for acuity and critical devices (CRRT, IABP, Impella)

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience (3 years for first-time travelers)
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred
Proficiency in titrating critical drips (pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, insulin)
Prior travel experience preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care nursing skills across multiple ICU specialties
Ability to float and adapt quickly to different hospital environments
Telemetry interpretation and independent strip reading
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility and reliability in a dynamic schedule
