Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate end-of-life care to patients and their families
- Manage patient symptoms and coordinate individualized care plans
- Educate families and provide emotional support during difficult times
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for holistic patient care
- Conduct crisis intervention and symptom management in home settings
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of hospice nursing experience
- Active Virginia RN license in good standing
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record and reliable transportation
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in symptom management and crisis intervention
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build rapport with patients and families
- Teamwork and collaboration in an interdisciplinary setting
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
