Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Sunday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 35

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients
Guide patients through therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility and function
Document patient progress and report changes to the supervising physical therapist
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety strategies
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care

Qualifications

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program
Active state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant in Maine
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting preferred

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of physical therapy principles and modalities
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Compassionate and patient-centered approach
