Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients with diverse rehabilitation needs in a transitional care setting
Develop personalized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Document patient progress accurately and adjust interventions as needed
Educate patients and their families on home exercise programs and safety strategies

Qualifications

Current Physical Therapist license in New Mexico (or compact eligibility)
Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Previous experience in a rehab or skilled nursing setting preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and teams

Education

Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and gait training
Ability to adapt treatment plans for varying patient conditions
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Time management and organizational skills to handle a caseload efficiently
