Pharmacist – UHC Staffing

Pharmacist

Location: Columbus, OH

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-19-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, with Saturday rotation every 3 weeks

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Dispense medications accurately and counsel patients on proper usage
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy
Monitor patient outcomes and adjust treatments as needed
Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Contribute to a positive and efficient pharmacy environment

Qualifications

Active pharmacist license in Ohio (or compact license eligibility)
Graduation from an accredited pharmacy program (PharmD preferred)
BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
At least 1 year of recent pharmacy experience preferred

Education

PharmD from an ACPE-accredited college of pharmacy

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical knowledge in drug interactions and contraindications
Excellent communication and patient counseling skills
Proficiency with pharmacy management software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
