Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to both adult and pediatric patients in a mixed medical-surgical/telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry strips for adult patients and respond to changes
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to other units as needed to support staffing
• Participate in patient and family education

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Arizona
• Minimum 3 years of acute care experience
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in pediatric and adult medical-surgical nursing
• Willingness to care for both adult and pediatric patients

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in Cerner electronic health records
• Ability to interpret cardiac telemetry strips
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam
