Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients presenting to the emergency room
• Administer medications, IVs, and emergency treatments
• Collaborate with physicians and the emergency care team
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes
• Provide compassionate support to patients and their families
• Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance

Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification strongly preferred
• Prior emergency room or acute care nursing experience
• Ability to remain calm and effective in fast-paced situations

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of emergency nursing principles
• Skilled in patient assessment, triage, and critical thinking
• Proficient in IV insertion and medication administration
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR)
