Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $48 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services to help individuals regain independence in daily living activities
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient progress accurately
- Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, equipment, and home safety
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions of care
- Maintain compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards while delivering compassionate care
Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapist license in New Mexico or eligibility to obtain one
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program
- NBCOT certification preferred
- Previous experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid knowledge of occupational therapy assessments and interventions
- Experience with care planning and documentation in compliance with regulations
- Familiarity with adaptive equipment and splinting
- Excellent clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities
- Interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients, families, and staff
- Time management and proficiency with electronic health records
