Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients presenting with urgent medical needs
• Triage patients efficiently and prioritize care based on acuity
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• BLS certification required (ACLS preferred)
• Experience in urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care setting a plus
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Ability to quickly assess and respond to changing patient conditions
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Knowledge of urgent care protocols, triage procedures, and emergency preparedness
• Strong interpersonal skills with patients, families, and team members
