Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs, interpret cardiac rhythms, and respond to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring patient safety
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, medications, and post-discharge care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of California
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• ACLS certification preferred
• Previous experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing is a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and medication administration
• Knowledgeable in cardiac monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Proficient in electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Effective teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Time management and prioritization in fast-paced settings
