Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in our ICU
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, identifying changes and responding promptly
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and post-discharge care
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records

Qualifications

• Active California RN license (or compact license where applicable)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Previous ICU or critical care experience preferred but not required
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of critical care nursing principles
• Proficiency in using cardiac monitors, ventilators, and other ICU equipment
• Ability to stay calm and make quick decisions in high-pressure situations
• Effective interpersonal skills for patient and family interaction
