Shift Type: Saturday-Sunday, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM (Night shift)

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to urgent care patients of all ages
  • Triage and assess patients quickly to determine urgency and prioritize care
  • Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and efficiently
  • Collaborate with providers to implement and adjust patient care plans
  • Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record
  • Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and follow-up care
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
  • Adapt to fluctuating patient volumes and urgent situations with confidence

Qualifications

  • Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
  • BLS certification for healthcare providers (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Previous urgent care, emergency, or ambulatory care experience is a plus
  • Strong IV start and phlebotomy skills preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced setting
  • Excellent critical thinking and patient assessment skills

Knowledge & Skills

  • Solid understanding of urgent care clinical protocols and procedures
  • Proficiency in medication administration and IV therapy
  • Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Ability to stay calm, organized, and effective during busy shifts
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
