Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans developed by licensed Physical Therapists
Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve mobility
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the supervising PT
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
Maintain accurate documentation and communicate with the care team

Qualifications

Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire (or compact eligibility)
Associate's degree from an accredited PTA program
CPR certification (BLS) preferred
Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA in a skilled nursing or rehab setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Compassionate and patient-focused approach
Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
