Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 5:00 AM - 1:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $19 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures with skill and care
Collect blood specimens from patients of all ages following standard protocols
Properly label, process, and transport specimens to the lab
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Provide compassionate patient interaction to ease any anxiety
Ensure accurate patient identification and documentation

Qualifications

Active Phlebotomy certification (e.g., CPT, NHA, ASCP) or equivalent
Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience in a clinical setting
BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
Comfortable working in a fast-paced hospital environment
Strong communication and customer service skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in venipuncture, capillary sticks, and butterfly draws
Knowledge of proper specimen handling and infection control
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with excellent documentation skills
Familiarity with electronic health records and lab systems
