Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and therapists
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and strategies
• Document patient progress and adjust plans as needed for optimal outcomes
• Provide compassionate care that truly makes a difference in patients' lives

Qualifications

• Active Vermont Speech Language Pathologist license (or compact eligible)
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an SLP (travel experience a plus)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in assessing and treating a variety of speech and language disorders
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Time management and adaptability in a fast-paced healthcare setting
