Location: Albuquerque, NM

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (12-hour shifts with 30-min meal break)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $28 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assessing vital signs and administering medications
Collaborate with RNs and doctors to develop and implement care plans
Document patient progress accurately and maintain detailed records
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management
Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control protocols
Support daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility

Qualifications

Active LPN license in the state of New Mexico
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in medication administration and wound care
Knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) systems
Excellent patient assessment and critical thinking skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
