Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care on a medical-surgical unit
Assess patient conditions and monitor vital signs throughout your shift
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update care plans
Document patient progress and communicate changes to physicians
Educate patients and families on discharge instructions and health management

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
Minimum of 1 year of recent med-surg experience preferred
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Knowledge of medical-surgical nursing standards and protocols
Excellent clinical judgment and decision-making abilities
Skilled in patient assessment and critical thinking
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic setting
