Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Implement personalized treatment plans to help patients regain mobility and independence
Collaborate with physical therapists and healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Document patient progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
Assist with therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities
Maintain a positive, supportive environment that encourages healing

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist Assistant license or eligibility to obtain in Maryland
Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to adapt to new environments quickly
Passion for helping others and making a difference

Education

Associate degree in Physical Therapist Assisting

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in therapeutic exercise techniques and modalities
Knowledge of rehabilitation equipment and safety protocols
Excellent documentation and time management skills
Comfortable working in a fast-paced clinical setting
Team player with a can-do attitude
