Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Location: Rutland, Vermont

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM, includes weekends (every weekend commitment)
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a long-term care setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor patient vital signs and report changes to the healthcare team
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Vermont or compact state
- Minimum of 1 year of LPN experience preferred
- BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficiency in medication administration and wound care
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations for long-term care
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing patient needs and unit demands
- Basic computer skills for electronic health records
