Location: Garrison, North Dakota

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, rotating days and nights (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to a diverse patient population in the Emergency Department and MedSurg Swing unit
Titrate drips and manage complex medications with confidence and precision
Read and interpret telemetry strips to monitor patient heart rhythms
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Float to ED holds as needed, demonstrating versatility and teamwork
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota (or compact license accepted)
Minimum of one year of MedSurg experience required
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Ability to titrate drips and manage critical care patients
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, small-town hospital environment

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Adaptability to float between ED and MedSurg units
Experience with NEBS, oxygen delivery, and basic ventilator transport
