Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and deliver individualized physical therapy interventions to help patients reach meaningful functional goals
• Assess patient functional needs, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care plans for optimal recovery
• Design and implement thorough plans of care based on assessments and collaborate with families and caregivers when appropriate
• Document evaluations, treatment goals, progress notes, prescriptions, and required signatures accurately and timely
• Direct and coordinate support staff to achieve patient goals while maintaining safety and quality standards
• Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members to ensure continuity of care
• Practice and promote infection control, safety, and departmental policies in all clinical activities
• Participate in quality improvement activities and pursue ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
• Current Washington State license from the Board of Physical Therapy Examiners or application in process
• At least 1 year of physical therapy experience preferred
• Familiarity with HIPAA requirements and commitment to patient confidentiality
• Reliable professional presence, ability to arrive on time and engage with the care team and community

Education

• Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
