Roles & Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients thoroughly under physician orders to identify functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Design and implement therapeutic programs using a variety of modalities to restore muscle strength, range of motion, coordination, and body alignment
- Provide hands-on treatment and therapeutic interventions aimed at pain control and improving movement and function
- Document progress and communicate effectively with referring physicians and the care team to ensure coordinated patient care
- Practice in accordance with the State Practice Act and maintain high standards of patient safety and professional conduct
Qualifications
- Current CA Physical Therapist License required
- Ability to evaluate and treat patients under physician referral and develop targeted treatment plans
- Comfortable using therapeutic modalities and hands-on interventions to restore function and manage pain
- Professional practice aligned with the California State Practice Act
Knowledge & Skills
- Patient evaluation and assessment
- Treatment planning and therapeutic modalities
- Muscle strengthening techniques
- Range of motion and coordination restoration
- Body alignment assessment and correction
- Pain management strategies
- Familiarity with California State Practice Act governing PT practice
