Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic neuro/musculoskeletal conditions to restore mobility and function
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence
• Provide inpatient rehabilitation care across a range of diagnoses including stroke, spinal, orthopedic, and balance disorders
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and interdisciplinary rehab team members to coordinate patient care
• Document patient progress, discharge planning, and outcomes in a timely, thorough manner
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility strategies
• Travel between multiple points of care as needed to reach patients in different settings

Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapy license required
• Healthcare Provider Level BLS required
• Experience with inpatient rehabilitation and treating neuro/musculoskeletal conditions preferred
• Comfortable traveling to multiple points of care as part of the assignment
• Strong clinical reasoning, excellent communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage documentation and participate in interdisciplinary care planning

• Neurological, stroke, spinal, and orthopedic rehabilitation approaches
