Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care for acute care patients
Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, and mobility
Monitor and accurately document vital signs and patient status
Communicate changes in patient condition clearly to nursing staff and interdisciplinary team
Help maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients
Support efficient patient flow by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

Current CNA certification or active CNA credential (state requirements apply)
Experience or comfort working in an acute care setting preferred
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and provide consistent, reliable care
Pass background checks and required health screenings per facility policy
Strong communication and teamwork skills; patient-centered attitude

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program

Knowledge & Skills

Acute care patient support and basic clinical observation
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Safe patient handling and mobility assistance
Clear, professional communication with patients and clinical staff
Basic infection control and safety protocols
