Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care with attention to dignity and comfort
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately following facility protocols
- Perform routine assessments and monitor vital signs to inform care plans
- Document patient status and interventions clearly and promptly in the chart
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and improve outcomes
- Support patients and families with clear communication, education, and empathy
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license — Pennsylvania license preferred
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification
- Comfortable with medication administration, basic nursing procedures, and patient observation
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to pass facility onboarding and background checks
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid fundamentals in clinical assessment and patient care
- Medication administration and accurate charting
- Infection control and safety best practices
- Effective teamwork and clear communication with clinical staff
- Basic comfort with electronic health records and documentation
