Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients as an LPN
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Assist with patient assessments, documentation, and care planning
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care
Communicate clearly with patients and families to educate and support them
Maintain a safe, clean environment and follow facility policies and infection control practices
Participate in orientation and training to ensure competency and compliance

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (required)
Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
Current BLS/CPR certification preferred or required per facility policy
Comfortable with medication administration, basic clinical procedures, and documentation
Ability to pass background check and meet facility onboarding requirements
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Fundamental nursing skills: vital signs, medication administration, wound care basics
Accurate clinical documentation and charting
Basic understanding of infection control and safety standards
Effective patient and family communication
Team collaboration and time management in a clinical setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
