Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and assist residents with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs, report changes in condition promptly to the nursing team
Assist with personal hygiene, feeding, mobility and comfort measures
Document care accurately and timely in the resident record
Follow infection control and safety protocols to protect residents and staff
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized care plans
Maintain respectful, patient-centered interactions with residents and families

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification in the applicable jurisdiction (required)
Current CPR/BLS certification (preferred or obtained upon hire as required)
Ability to pass required background checks and facility onboarding
Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-first attitude
Reliable punctuality and the ability to work assigned shifts

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
State-approved Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program completion required

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on experience in resident care and ADLs
Knowledge of basic infection control practices and safety procedures
Comfortable with documentation and following care plans
Ability to recognize and report changes in patient condition
Teamwork, time management, and basic clinical observation skills
