Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs and patient status accurately and promptly
Assist nursing team with patient transfers, positioning, and mobility needs
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control procedures
Document patient care activities clearly in the medical record
Communicate observations and changes in patient condition to the RN/LPN
Support patient dignity, comfort, and emotional needs with kindness and respect

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (must be valid for the state of Georgia)
Ability to pass facility-required background checks and immunization screenings
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Dependable, punctual, and able to handle 12.5-hour shift demands

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed state-approved CNA training program and current certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and assistance with activities of daily living
Taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection prevention practices and patient safety
Comfortable assisting with patient mobility and transfers
Basic documentation skills and ability to follow care plans
Collaborative communication with nursing staff and other clinical team members
