Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 8-hour shift (start/end times and specific days to be confirmed)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents and patients with dignity and respect
Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting)
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly
Support safe patient transfers and mobility to prevent falls
Document care activities clearly and communicate changes to the nursing team
Build trusting relationships with residents, families, and the care team
Maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control practices

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (or equivalent state certification)
Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) preferred or willing to obtain
Ability to pass background checks and required health screenings
Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to handle physical aspects of the role

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and state certification

Knowledge & Skills

Patient care and personal hygiene assistance
Vital signs monitoring and basic clinical observation
Infection prevention and safe handling techniques
Charting/documentation and effective handoff communication
Compassionate bedside manner and de-escalation skills
