Contract Type: Per-Diem

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Monitor and document vital signs, changes in condition, and care provided
Perform wound care and other routine clinical procedures as directed
Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
Assist residents with activities of daily living while promoting dignity and independence
Communicate clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and infection control practices

Qualifications

Valid Pennsylvania LPN license (required)
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Successful completion of a background check and drug screening
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Compassionate bedside manner and effective communication skills
Previous experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting is a plus

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN / Practical Nursing program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and accurate charting
Vital sign assessment and basic patient assessment
Wound care and basic clinical procedures
Familiarity with electronic medical records/charting systems
Infection control standards and safe patient handling
Teamwork, time management, and strong organizational skills
