Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Schedule to be confirmed; 5-hour shift (exact start and end times TBD); OT shift; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide patient-centered occupational therapy evaluations and individualized treatment plans
Deliver skilled interventions and document progress in an accurate, timely manner
Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and rehabilitation team members to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques, home programs, and discharge planning
Participate in orientation activities and help mentor new staff when needed

Qualifications

Licensed Occupational Therapist in California required or eligible for licensure
Entry-level to experienced clinicians encouraged to apply; clinical fieldwork/experience preferred
Current BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with an interdisciplinary team
Comfortable with documentation systems and meeting regulatory requirements

Education

Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) or entry-level degree in Occupational Therapy required

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of occupational therapy assessment and intervention approaches
Skilled in adaptive equipment recommendations, ADL training, and patient education
Ability to set functional, measurable goals and track outcomes
Solid clinical reasoning and time management in a busy outpatient setting
Friendly bedside manner and the ability to engage patients of diverse backgrounds
