Nurse Manager - Cath Lab and ICU

Location: Garden City, KS

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, plus on-call 24/7 including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $102 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Oversee clinical operations in both the Cath Lab and ICU departments
Provide leadership and mentorship to nursing staff to enhance competency
Build and sustain a positive unit culture focused on quality care
Coordinate pre-procedure preparation and recovery for cardiac patients
Support bedside procedures and administer moderate sedation
Ensure compliance with required certifications and protocols

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact state
Minimum 3 years of RN experience
At least 1 year of clinical leadership or management experience
Certifications required: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC (or willingness to obtain)
CRRT competency preferred
Ability to titrate vasoactive drugs and manage critical drips

Knowledge & Skills

Critical care and telemetry monitoring
Cath lab procedures and moderate sedation
Leadership, team building, and culture development
Knowledge of vasoactive drug titration and blood product administration
Familiarity with ventilator management and respiratory equipment
