Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, rotating day shifts: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate nursing care to urology patients in a fast-paced clinic setting
Set up sterile fields and assist with procedures like cystoscopy and prostate biopsy
Place catheters and provide patient education on urological conditions
Collaborate with a dedicated team of nurses, CSTs, and CNAs to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with procedure room turnover

Qualifications

Active LPN/LVN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in urology or a similar clinic setting preferred
Ability to set up sterile field and assist in procedures
Competent in catheter placement and urological patient care

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of urological conditions like BPH, hematuria, UTI, and LUTS
Skill in sterile technique and procedure room setup
Excellent communication and patient education abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Comfortable with a high patient volume (33-40 patients per day)
