Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide safe, compassionate patient care during the night shift, prioritizing comfort and clinical needs
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document all care in the chart
Monitor patients and promptly report changes in condition to the care team
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and ancillary staff to support smooth handoffs and continuity of care
Perform routine assessments, wound care, and IV support as appropriate to your license
Participate in unit-based quality initiatives and contribute ideas to improve patient experience

Qualifications

Current LPN license; RN candidates considered depending on facility needs
Valid nursing license in the state of New Mexico or ability to obtain licensure
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; advanced certifications a plus
Clinical experience in acute care, rehab, or related settings preferred
Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN program; RN diploma/degree if applicable

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and bedside care fundamentals
Medication administration and documentation best practices
Charting in electronic medical records and accurate handoff reporting
Ability to prioritize and respond calmly in urgent situations
Teamwork, time management, and strong interpersonal skills
