IR Technologist (Interventional Radiology)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, day shifts, occasional Saturdays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $76 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures including GI/GJ tube placements, port insertions, angiograms, lumbar punctures, and myelograms
Assist in neuro endovascular procedures such as embolizations, stenting, and stroke treatments
Operate Philips Allera and Medrad injector equipment with precision
Collaborate with a team of RNs and MDs during sedation cases
Maintain high standards in a Level I Trauma environment

Qualifications

ARRT (R) certification required
Active Arizona MRTBE-CRT license required
Level I Trauma experience required
VI certificate preferred but not required
Scrub and neuro experience highly valued

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner and DR (PACS) systems
Experience with Philips Allera and Medrad injector
Strong scrub technique and sterile field management
Ability to handle 5-10 cases per day efficiently
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
