Roles & Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform diagnostic radiographs accurately
• Perform CT scans as required, adjusting technical factors for patient safety and image quality
• Operate portable X-ray units and C-arm equipment for intraoperative and bedside imaging
• Manage patient transport and assume temporary responsibility for patients during imaging
• Use hospital computer systems and PACS to archive, retrieve, and manage imaging studies
• Follow strict radiation safety practices to minimize exposure for patients and staff
• Perform necessary clerical tasks to ensure efficient department workflow and documentation
• Provide compassionate, psychosocially-aware care that meets the needs of the population served

Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist as required by the facility/state
• Demonstrated ability to perform CT scans and general radiography (X-ray) procedures
• Experience operating fluoroscopy equipment, portable X-ray units, and C-arm devices
• Comfort with using PACS and hospital computer systems for image management
• Ability to transport patients and assume temporary patient responsibility during imaging
• Commitment to radiation safety practices and patient-centered care
• Willingness and availability to work night shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
