Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 7-hour shifts; specific start/end times and exact days vary by unit and will be confirmed with the facility (schedule flexible based on staffing needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to patients, assisting with activities of daily living
Monitor and document patient vitals and condition changes accurately
Support nursing staff with treatments and timely communication of observations
Maintain a clean, safe and respectful environment for patients and families
Assist with patient transfers, mobility, and safe use of equipment
Build rapport with patients and families to deliver dignified, person-centered care

Qualifications

Current CNA certification/license valid in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Able to pass required background check and health screenings
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively
Comfortable with lifting/transferring patients and performing physical tasks
Previous experience caring for patients preferred but new grads are welcome to apply

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completed state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing and patient care principles
Skill in taking and recording vital signs accurately
Familiarity with infection control and safety procedures
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
Good interpersonal skills and empathy when interacting with patients
