Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care and support daily living activities
Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding and mobility
Monitor and document vital signs, intake/output and patient observations
Collaborate with nurses and clinical staff to deliver safe care
Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment for patients
Communicate respectfully with patients and families and escalate concerns

Qualifications

Current CNA certification (required) — must be valid for Pennsylvania
Strong interpersonal skills and a patient-centered approach
Basic ability to measure and record vital signs accurately
CPR/BLS certification preferred or completion upon hire if required by facility
Ability to pass background checks and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and activities of daily living (ADLs)
Vital sign measurement and basic clinical observation
Infection control and safe handling procedures
Clear documentation and communication skills
Teamwork and ability to follow care plans
